Performance, Halter, Performance Horse Training  Our trainer establishes a solid foundation of the basics as the first step in horse training. He then builds on that foundation to produce a finished, well-balanced and well-trained horse. We welcome the experience, patience and "horse sense" as valuable assets to Cascade Pleasure Horses' training program.
Horses are started with an emphasis on arena work with the show ring as the ultimate goal. We use an extensive program of groundwork focusing on freeing up the feet, softening the horse laterally and ensuring that the horse is relaxed before progressing to a new level. Horses are also worked in the round pens both on foot and from another horse. Horses are first ridden in a halter and then progress to either the snaffle or hackamore. Early rides emphasize moving freely and in a relaxed frame. As they are ready, lateral work progresses, and then basic maneuvers and collection. They are taught to stand quietly for mounting and dismounting. Cascade Pleasure Horse Facility TRAINING

Includes full boarding, heated barn, blanketing and turn out (2 flakes alfalfa am. - 2Flakes pm and daily grain) additional flake $30 per month
Haul in lesson $50.00 Vitamins, Supplements and Dewormer: We will feed supplements and dewormer (owner provided) at no additional fee. Veterinary and Ferrier fees are the responsibility of the owner. THE SHOW Show entry and show fee are the responsibility of owner and not included in the show fees. Show tack room fee divided by number of clients at show in training

Fuel/Meals/Day fee/Show fee/Hotel accommodations are paid by client. Transportation fee .60 cents per mile per horse ($55 minimum) (to and from show)
Special hauling arrangements can be provided with additional charge $1.30 per mile

Banding/Bathing/Clipping/Show Supplies Clothing & Tack: Be prepared to make purchases of custom outfits and quality tack on our advice. Our show tack usage fee $10 per day at show We charge 10% commission to find or sell a horse for you. Service and Care cost subject to change with 30 day notice.
